After an intensive test & qualification process by the engineers at Bluefish444, the R14HDS delivered performance, stability and flexibility essential to the caliber of projects typical of Bluefish444 users. “The Proavio R14HDS is the first SATA based storage unit we have in house that can actually handle DPX 10 bit RGB up to 2K resolutions without dropping a frame. ” said Paul Cameron, Bluefish444’s Support Manager. “We managed to capture dozens of clips with various durations without any performance hit on capture and playback. cinema production space. An active-active Ultra320 SCSI RAID
configuration ensures a high-level of performance without
the hidden costs normally experienced when deploying a 4Gb
Fibre Channel solution. R14HDS can be configured and re-configured
as production needs change and supports a wide variety of
redundancy settings including data protection with RAID-5.
Hardware redundancy includes studio-quality redundant power
and Proavio’s low-noise studio cooling technology making
